The rudder and eight foot keel were prepared while sanding and smoothing continued and fittings, a small motor, the head and more electronics were installed. 

It was a breath-holding moment, when the boat was lifted from it’s cradle, the keel with its complex bolt arrangement slid under the hull, and the boat then slowly lowered onto the keel’s bolts. Beneath the hull, the keel and rudder were carefully positioned and fastened
